Esther Maria Probst is a museum educator in Washington, D.C. at The Phillips Collection. She received her Bachelor’s degree in History and Studio Art from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana in 2006. In 2010, she received a Master of Fine Arts at Syracuse University in Video Art. In 2015, she received a Master of Arts, in Arts Education from the University of Florida.
Esther has taught in many settings from elementary, middle school to the undergraduate level. Currently, Esther works at The Phillips Collection and is a part of a program that helps arts-integrated D.C. public schools better use the resources of the museum in their curricula. Esther’s main goal as an art educator is to create appreciation and aptitude in the visual arts for all students, regardless of background, age, experience, or privilege. |
